    Josie Holland, a Droitwich resident for 18 years, passed away last September at the age of 91.   A passionate, amateur artist since attending Glasgow School of Art in 1942, her family are exhibiting over 50 of her works in Droitwich Library ahead of the annual Droitwich Arts Festival.  Her paintings are being offered for sale to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice.  As well as the canvasses, over 12 of her sketchbooks will also be on display.  She was willing to experiment with many different mediums, tackled a huge variety of subjects and enjoyed attending two arts classes in Droitwich right up until a few months before her passing.

    John-James is a Dance Teacher-Performer and Strictly Come Dancing Pundit for The BBC. He has been involved in dance for over 15 years, delivering his fun dance classes every week in his unique, enthusiastic and positive way. When it comes to dancing credentials John-James has many including helping The BBC Summer of Salsa break The World Record for “Salsa in a line”. John is regularly invited to many countries including Cuba to perform and teach professional dancers and has trained many people to become salsa dance instructors.
    John-James appears on both BBC and ITV and has recently been selected as a Principle Dance Teacher for First Dance Stance.

    Proceeds in aid of St Richard’s Hospice

    We are proud to present a spectacular concert in Aid of St Richard’s Hospice with a small donation being made to the Music Department of Droitwich High School. We will be raising the roof with our toe tapping arrangements, and joy of singing through a variety of songs from U2 to Rag’n’Bone Man. We will be joined on stage by a LIVE band. Please support St Richard’s Hospice by booking your ticket now…you won’t be disappointed!!!

      1.15pm Have fun learning to dance Salsa with John-James

      John-James is a Dance Teacher-Performer and Strictly Come Dancing Pundit for The BBC. He has been involved in dance for over 15 years, delivering his fun dance classes every week in his unique, enthusiastic and positive way. When it comes to dancing credentials John-James has many including helping The BBC Summer of Salsa break The World Record for “Salsa in a line”. John is regularly invited to many countries including Cuba to perform and teach professional dancers and has trained many people to become salsa dance instructors.
      John-James appears on both BBC and ITV and has recently been selected as a Principle Dance Teacher for First Dance Stance.

      Proceeds in aid of St Richard’s Hospice

      We are proud to present a spectacular concert in Aid of St Richard’s Hospice with a small donation being made to the Music Department of Droitwich High School. We will be raising the roof with our toe tapping arrangements, and joy of singing through a variety of songs from U2 to Rag’n’Bone Man. We will be joined on stage by a LIVE band. Please support St Richard’s Hospice by booking your ticket now…you won’t be disappointed!!!
