    Josie Holland, a Droitwich resident for 18 years, passed away last September at the age of 91.   A passionate, amateur artist since attending Glasgow School of Art in 1942, her family are exhibiting over 50 of her works in Droitwich Library ahead of the annual Droitwich Arts Festival.  Her paintings are being offered for sale to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice.  As well as the canvasses, over 12 of her sketchbooks will also be on display.  She was willing to experiment with many different mediums, tackled a huge variety of subjects and enjoyed attending two arts classes in Droitwich right up until a few months before her passing.
